My problem with swim costumes is my build. I am tall (5' 11") my frame is slim but my bust is 32 GG. The fit for this costume was ok but it was still a little baggy around the hip/lower stomach area because of my slim build and the bust was a slightly too small. A swimming costume for swimming in rather than posing on the beach, with straps that don't fall off my shoulders. I know I'm fat, but I still want to swim. I don't want obscene cut-outs or scoop backs. I want straps that stay up and allow me to actually use the costume for swimming. Too many manufacturers seem to think fat women need skirts, which impede movement in the pool and are utterly pointless. Thank goodness for a manufacturer prepared to make proper swimming costumes in larger sizes. Originally posted on www.longtallsally.com
