These pants are a real downgrade from the Gary. While I appreciate the wider waistband, something is clearly wrong with the pockets. They stick out and the opening fabric is just too large. Worse is that the Gary is no longer. It would have been better to introduce new version but continue the other, so very popular version. I loved the fit of these on me, but it's worth noting I looked at the other reviewed and sized down. They were still loose but only as much as you'd want. Additionally I am 5'2 and they look better pulled up to the waist or the crotch would've been low and weird. I wouldn't have wanted them lower on the crotch and I wouldn't have wanted them any shorter. Originally posted on www.sweatybetty.com
